Robert joined Sloan Realty Inc. in February 2005 after an extensive career as a corporate officer with insurance and financial service companies in Wisconsin and Minnesota serving customers on a national basis. 

Born and raised in Green Bay Wis. Robert graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. Upon graduation he joined Aid Association for Lutherans Ins. Co. in Appleton Wis. and then was recruited to Integrity Life Insurance Co. After ten years with Integrity Life Insurance Co. Robert moved to Mutual Service Insurance Co. in Saint Paul Minnesota to lead Life Insurance Administration and served as VP and GM of Casualty Operations and Executive VP of Mutual Service Cooperative when the company was merged with Country Insurance and Financial services of Bloomington Illinois.

Robert has been a long time believer and investor in real estate in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Through many years of traveling Robert and his wife Janet discovered SW Florida, especially in the winter. As he says “warmer is better and the life style is great”.

The Gaecke’s began personally investing in country club property in SW Florida in 1999 through Doug Sloan. They have lived in three of the country clubs that Robert focuses on as a Real Estate Country Club Specialist in the Fort Myers area. Robert and Janet live in Colonial Country Club and are both involved in the club community and governance activities.
